    spot on about the fruits and veggies! these are rich in fiber so they fill the stomach up, helping you to eat less of the junk. plus, they’re abundant in phytochemicals to keep our immune system healthy.

    tip: i drink soup or water before a meal to prevent taking too much food.

    for energy for working out (you’re taking less calories, so less energy there), american ginseng is good.

    I’ve gained nearly 20 lbs. since spring started. So I really need to lose that before I gain more, huh?

  5. Yes, I agree, it’s all in the proportions, in finding the balance.
    I’ve recently read something interesting: Our plate, our food should be the size of our hand. No matter how fat or tall you are, you should eat a dish the size of your hand.
    And as for soup, it should be of 2 fists put together. Funny, right?

    In the end it’s also a matter of pride. “A few chips filled with chemicals, made by some greedy rich people, are not going to control me! ” – Jennifer realized that and she freed herself. Good for her!
